They cannot tell the difference between Xiaolongbao and dumplings, and often mistake Xiaolongbao for dumplings with hot soup (Soup Dumplings).

Christopher, an American food critic who has lived in Shanghai for 16 years, has published a book “Shanghai Xiaolongbao Guide”, which has also spread the food culture of Xiaolongbao.

On a street in Ashfield, Sydney, there are 4 consecutive Shanghai restaurants selling Xiaolongbao. There are many locals or tourists queuing at the door just for that delicious basket.

Roujiamo is like a Chinese hamburger. It is also the oldest sandwich in the world.

In the American TV series “The Big Bang Theory”, there is a scene where the genius Sheldon is struggling: “Which one was invented earlier, the sandwich or the Roujiamo?”

The answer is of course that Roujiamo wins easily, and its history can be traced back to the Warring States Period.
